i'm heading for a major hurdle, and i can feel it. i thought the summer was chaotic enough, now this? :( but this is my sixth month mark in my language acquistion road in korea and i should have expected this... i think my language skills have to go down before they jump into being fluent in korean (*cross fingers*!) and all the while maintaining my ability to speak proper english. ahah! aw, man. i need someone to speak konglish with! who says konglish is bad? i like it, dammit.
blah blah blah.. gwak gwak gwak. >_<
my head is hurting, slightly. my chest feels somewhat congested, and after i took a nap for a few hours i felt like i was breathing in really dry air. it isn't even winter yet, which is season when the air gets especially dry, but maybe it's just because my place is a loft/duplex and so the air gets even more arid on my second floor? and to top it all off, i have loads of catch up to do for language school. it's all making me really moody, in a bad way.
i don't think i've gotten a cold in awhile, and when i did it didn't stay for very long. when it comes to colds, i suppose i'm pretty resilient in most aspects as with most of my health issues. you would think that my body would be in an even more terrible condition than it is and, thankfully, it isn't too bad.
i don't know what happened for me to even come down with a cold? the weather has been slowly getting cooler, but by noticeable incremements, so it's not like i was unaware of a change in season. it has been quite a mild transisition from summer to autumn, actually, and a smooth transition is what makes the difference with some loneliness setting in. and for someone who is coming down with a cold, well, it helps. it helps me feel prepared for another phase of my life, as if life didn't have as many surprises.
i think what i need is a nice hot cup of something-something laced with some chocolate. that would be really comforting and i know i'll need to get something soon or i'll have to trek around with the worry that i might give this to everyone around me. *sigh*
