Feeling my body
Hunger consumes me
Eat ravenously
the chicken
I change out the laundry
washer to dryer
I climb into the dryer
waiting for comfort
To be surrounded by
wet clothes
and tossed about for
an hour
Wouldn't it be nice
to get a bubble tea
for Christmas?
