It's raining gently and I can hear it make a pit, pat sound against the window. I've been sick for about a week now and there isn't any sign of it getting tremendously better--yet. I'm not sure how much isolation I can take. I haven't seen a friend in over a week. It's tough living alone during such times. There are high highs and low lows, and usually I'm someplace in the middle. But today I feel it more than normal. It's like my own rendition of Yellow Wallpaper, where the woman narrating the story dives into madness. Maybe I should do that too: document madness. I think too much of that would be poor for my mental health, actually. To always focus on going mad. I don't like it.
