-Co-dependency with close friends, needing constant attention, and seeming "needy"
She didn't realize all this until it all stopped: the hang outs, the dinners, the french toast at brunch, the making roast chicken together.
It wasn't until her best friend moved all the way across the nation that she felt something new: she felt free. Free from the same ol', free from a community that didn't exactly vibe with her, free from being in someone else's shadow, free from obligation, and free to feel at peace.
It was a sense of peace that felt almost magical. Like the sun was shining but not beating down hot heat; more like a whimsical spring day, with a mild temperature, and a slight breeze.
Was this her karmatic expression? Did the gods decide to give her a chance? Was she finally feeling the fruits of her labor?
Dunno. But she is willing to find out.
