bleh.

so i'm turing out to be a stickler for
'do what is right'

what is fair. and what is fair? should a price be based on who someone is? foreigner or not. shouldn't it based upon where someone is? the manufacturing cost and etc
so why do i feel like a target? b/c that's what it was like. target practice
ready
aim
fire

dongdaemun. i LIKE shopping there. it's crazy/bokgaphae, and perhaps you have to be able to speak SOME KOREAN in order to shop/bargain and come out with something you like at a good price (what it should cost)
BUT
for teengage to 20 something girls who like to wear trendy, youthful, fun, comfortable, and fun clothing (like me)
granted it does wear out easily BUT you'll also find clothing that SUITS the weather~
when i bought my first shirt in korea~ i couldn't BELIEVE how much lighter and weather appropriate it was over my clothing from the US.. my sister was like, Kimberly, DONT PACK ANYTHING. just buy everything you need when you get there, AND you dont know what the weather is like....
i didn't listen~ i brought a suitcase full of clothing that was TOO thick and NOT comfortable in the summer heat.

boy, was my sister RIGHT.

and being in korea~ going out with friends, and going out late at night....late night SHOPPING! what better way to pass the time when you dont want to go to a club or bar?

BUT be ready to have prices in mind, and know what you want to buy, b/c that's another part of it...

when i first went to dongdaemun, which was over 4 years ago..i was lucky enough to go with friends who were bilingual, 20 years old (like me)/young students, and we were all the same size~ so it was easy to pick something out (we all had similar tastes, varying a little from classic to eccentric, but still willing to go outside of our own tastes and dabble in one anothers) and get the same thing but in another colors. maybe that does get a little old, considering friends can get sick of wearing the SAME exact thing as one another over and over... but it was still fun borrowing one another's clothing, and all..

so what am i saying..
maybe my dongdaemun days are over :( and maybe i have to accept that i'm no longer a younger 20/student... but a 25 year old, in korean age..who works and pays my own rent now, and cooks my own food, and pays for my own hobbies that keep me sane...

perhaps i should look at it as going out with friends~ ... guess shopping isn't always so glamorous~ and maybe i was being selfish...

gawd. i need clothes. i dont care anymore. do i sound desperate? i'm sick of looking at my crusty yonsama socks. no offense or anything, i do have dozens of pairs... but they are starting to look shabby. i really really need some new clothes.
i am desperate. geeesh. *sob*

i should get some rest
perhaps i'll never get married. i'll probably tire my husband out and he'll want to marry someone who's easier to handle.
whatever
i feel like being selfish right now. i'm not a mind reader.
this sucks.
